Default Engine Swap

I have another question for everyone i have a friend who wrecked his truck and offered me a deal on the powertrain its is a newer HEMI what do you think is it something easy to do or should i just forget it i forgot i also have all the wiring and computer

It definitely wouldn't be an easy swap. You'd have to do a lot of wiring to get everything working right, especially if your truck isn't ODBII. You may also have to do some custom mount work...a lot of it if you have a 4x4. Best thing would be to get the whole truck, so you'd have everything you could possibly need for the swap. [>:]

Sure it might be a pita, but any motor swap is. If you have an electrical and fabrication/welding background I think it'd be pretty cool to do if you have a while for it to sit and be worked on!!! Les us know what you do, and if you do swap it that'd be sweet!!!
