anyone ever done a single cat back ? im poor and my son informed my truck sounds like a car

 

i have a single out 40 series flowmaster.. sounds really ignorant i love it

 

Hey 20ram, you dont happen to have the forceII system do you?

 

I have a single 3" cat-back with an AEROTURBINE muffler (3" in/out). Sounds great...like a V8 should sound.

 

gibson and also magnaflow also have single out catback's

 

I have single 3" in/out Flowmaster 50 SUV. It has a nice deep rumble to it, escpecially at low RPM, but not as loud as I would have liked when on it at full throttle. Putting on the highflow cat made it a little louder, which was nice. I think the Flowmaster 40 would have been better though. I was leary because people said the 40 can drone in the cab at highway speed. The 50 definetly does not do that.

 

summit racing has a nice kit for like $150 i belive

 

what about just streight pipe no muffler single pipe from the cat back

 

that would be loud and probally crackle alot when slowing down.. but i bet it would sound really mean.. whats the forceII system?? all i know is its a flowmaster 40 series.. single in/out

 

If im right, its the single flo system with the 50 suv muffler. I was just wondering where it exits and at what angle, what the tip looks like, etc
