Not a bad XJ motorider228, how much did you sell it for?

Also sus. lifts raise your center of gravity too, any time you get taller w/out going perportoinly wider you raise the center of gravity

I would go with 4.88's if you drive city or highway alot, just the little extra bit, My friend has a 91 H.O. XJ with a 4.5" lift and 32x11.5 Pro Comp MT's and a 6k Winch. They're pretty good offroad but you have to jack them pretty high to fit a decent size tire under them (like a 35x12.5)

they make a 4.5 but its for the cummins or V10, if you get that you will have like 7inch lift but i really stiff ride.

Honestly I have no idea where the 4 inch lift came from. We bought the truck used in 00 used and it was already lifted. Yes, I know suspension lifts raise the COG too but you dont get flex that combats that higher COG with a body lift as you do with a suspension lift.

The xj I posted a pick of had a welded rear carrier, arb front, 4:1 tera low tcase, 4.55's, body armor all around, gussetted axles, 35 inch xterrains (yuck!), sky jacker 10 inch lift, cb, cd, cold air/headers/straight pipe and a roof rack and much more and it sold for.......$650. Lots of rock rash and I had to let it go because I moved cross country and couldnt take it. It's all good though I wasnt fond of the uni body (my doors didnt open when it was flexed out) I'm starting a yota build soon D60 up front gm14 bolt rear, dual 4:7 cases locked front and rear blah blah blah so i'm content.
