Default clearance lights

hey guys i was wondering if anyone had the specs for clearance light on a 99 ram 2500 because i dont have any and my friend just got some on his and they look pretty hardass and i was thinking about puttin some on mine now and how hard would it be to put them on

Oh, good question. A buddy of mine keeps telling me how I should get them as well but figured they'd be too much of a PITA. Any info would be great here.

it's a pretty common mod to do. there are templates out there for the mounting. you do have to make some holes in your roof though. just make sure you have some silicone to seal it up.

i think Recon makes replacement, add ons that have template with them.

i've seen them at www.ramtrucktoys.com.

ok ive been lookin around on other websites and i found out supposeovly if you take off the head liner there are already holes traced or whatever you want to say but i wanted to know if anyone knows this is true before i take off my headliner

iv have been looking around for lights for my 98 and all i can find is the options with the smoked or clear colors. I want to get the ones that look as if it came out of the factory with them on it. I want the orange ones. Does someone know of a good place to get them? I went to that www.ramtrucktoys.com and all they offer is smoked or clear.

does anyone know where i can just get the template?? i have bought the lights about 2 months ago but never bothered putting them on yet because it didnt come with a template [:'(] is it possible for anyone to scan theirs to where i can print it out full size here?? any help or anyone i can talk to would be appreiciated

on my 99 ram 2500 all you have to do is take the headliner off and there are already places for them all you have to do is drill up though the roof or at least thats how it is on mine so that makes the job alot easier i would say
