WHICH CAT? 97 dodge
i have a 97 dodge ram sort with the 318 with a flowmaster cat back exhaust, got 150,000 miles on it and i think the cat is clogged up. Was wondering what is the best high flow cat for the truck, thanks and where u got it would be helpful also
I have the catco and i love it. Alot of guys here run the magnaflow and love it. Personally i went with the catco because i was a little short on cash but desperatly needed a new cat so i figured id get the cheap one and swap it out later but now that i have the catco i found out i really liked it and it is staying in there.
Yeah they are socha. The only difference is magnaflow is claimed to be a little better quality more for performance. Catco is basically their cheaper version of the products
get the mgnaflow high flow. i loved it back when i got mine. like it even more now that ive got the flomaster exhaust on there. and price wise, it was cheaper than the cheap chinese whitebox crap mufflerman tried to sell me.

I gutted mine and left the shell intact. ( In case of a DMV visual) Man, you got to hear my flowmaster catback now. I ordered and installed a post o2 simulator from jegss. Its listed as part # "182-104042 Mopar 1997 - 02 with one post ( after the cat) o2 sensor for $65.99. I clocked about 100 miles and no CEL light. In NJ they just check the computer for 96 and up vehicles. No cel = Passing inspection. I plan on restoring the cat, just ain't got the money or time to do it right now. I luv the flowmaster sound though....
