I have the 4.10 gear with locking rearend in my truck and getting ready to put 35" tires on it. I love the 4.10 gears.
You're not going to love them after the 35s You'll want to move to 4.56s or 4.88s...which isn't cheap [>:]

i have 3.92 in mine, no squaking of tires, but you do have the great low end pulling power.

Now, i might have experienced the shudder your talking about, but i always write it off as the limited slip, because it only does it while taking off and turning at the same time. I think i might go with some 4.10's at some point too.

How much are you looking at for the 4.10's? And so i dont hijack this thread, i agree about skipping over the 3.92s and going with the 4.10s.

It's most likely your axle that's shuddering and not the gears.

When I did the smokey burn-out (see sig ) I had some wicked bad wheel hop/axle wrap when I was first starting out. A set of ladder bars would fix that real quick
