now now gents. This kid obviously doesn't know any better, and you arn't making it better by making fun of him. Ok man, your electric supercharger is nothing more than a restriction in the intake. A supercharger, or turbocharger for that matter, works by compressing the air going into the engine to create higher cylinder pressures. Your electric fan does nothing more than blow air into the throttle blades, and once the engine is at wide open throttle, the metal fans in your intake become a restriction. Your factory throttle body pulls somewhere in the vicinity of 530-560cfm at 0 vacuum (wide open throttle), so your 500cfm fan is choking your engine of 30-60 CFM, and that's stock. Sorry man. Wasted a bit of money there. No big deal. The best place to start on the 5.2 or 5.9 magnum engines is the intake. These engines are nortorious for being choked of air. You can read about it at www.hughesengines.com just click on the tech article section and they'll point out the basic upgrades you should look at.
2nd, your "chip" that you got is nothing more than a resistor that tricks the computer into thinking it's colder outside, so the computer richenes the fuel mixture. The intake still can't flow enough to keep up, so it's actually going to hurt your performance and mileage, but eventually the "learning" computer in your ram will figure out something is wrong and spring a check engine light, or just pull the fuel back to stock... 30 bucks you'll never get back again... sorry.
It sounds like you have a decent start, but DAMN!!! don't drive that fast! The factory speed limiter is there because the tires installed on your truck arn't rated to sustain any speeds higher than 115 or so. Unless you get better tires, and you are on a track, there should be no need to reset your speed limiter. We don't need to lose any good people in good rams to stupidity and fast driving. When you do decide to get V or Z rated tires for your ram, you can control the speed limiter with a hypertech power programmer. This will also squeeze a few more ponies from your 5.2.
If you read that tech article, and listen to people here, who have done good and bad mods to their trucks, you'll be better off in the long run and you'll be much happier with your truck. Stick to the basics, cold air intake, fastman or hughes throttle body, kegger intake modification, etc etc, and you'll notice more ponies, and more mileage if you can keep your fat right foot out of the gas! lol.

your 7th cylinder misfire i would bet is coming from a cracked head and the only reason i say that is because i had it happen twice. if you replace your heads get the RT's because there not much more than stock replacments and there a hell of a lot better.

Nothing I like to hear more than somebody trying to get more speed and power out of a machine. First things first, you must think that a engine is nothing more than an air pump. The more air in the more air out, the faster and believe it or not the more efficient it will run. You made some bad choices and some good ones. What I can see left for you to do is either forced induction(turbo or supercharger) or speend the money and put some bigger slugs in there. You will have to take care of the head issue either way, and the price is about the same. Ebay is great don't get me wrong you can find alot of good stuff there, if you know what to look for. But for the heart of your machine I would find an ASE certified machinest to do the work and also have them order the internals for you, that way they will be mached with machine work they did. Learn how to match port your cylender heads. It's not hard and you can practice on the cracked one. If you don't want to speend money on the motor, put it in the rear end. Get rid of the 3.92 gears and put in a set of 4.30's. They will realy launch you out there and in a hurry!
