Default Replace rusted rear bumper or roll pan???

For all of us with a body lift that only use our rear bumper to step on, here is a couple of pics of a truck that was on E-Bay that had a roll pan and it looks good. Might work without a body lift??? Cheaper than a new rear bumper.

Looks good...but not with the hitch [:'(] The roll pan doesn't do much to "hide" it like the stock bumper does.

Good point. There are a few rides that won't get stopped by the reciever. Ricers just mess up the rear tires and scratch the reciever.

Actually, company called Sir Micheals makes a STEEL (not crappy fiberglass) rollpan and a Class III hitch to go along wiht it that is COMPLETLEY hidden behind the rollpan. and to hook up, you flip down the liscence plate, and the receiver is right behind it... that is what ill be going with when i get around to it

http://www.sirmichaels.com

awesome products

they call it a Hidden Hitch/ Roll pan.

kikc *** if you ask me

I had bent my rear bumper trying to pull a cut down tree and cant believe these bumpers are like paper and they want like 500.00 for a new 1 fro the dealership.SO i did indeed buy a rollpan from sir michaels but remember this there is some modifications that will need to be done like they dont sit flush to the truck bed, you`ll need at least a 1 inch square tubing to make up the gap on the top part and between the sides you`ll need to put like a rubber insulation between the rollpan n the bed.The box/kit says its for a 94-99 ram but it will work ok with a 00/01. I also added a hidden hitch and a flip up licence plate holder. To me it looks better then the"diving board" bumper but thats just me...

thanks
pat
