I had that same box before I got the MTX one. I raised the seat about 2" and and riveted extensions on to the slider bracket that goes against the back of the cab. My seat still folded up so your amp may be what's stopping the seat, but I can't guarantee. I built a box with cooling fans under the drivers seat for a rockford 800.2. Just an idea but it looks good.
