modifications don't add any value to the truck for 99% of people. most of the time they decrease it

plus, big trucks are not in right now. be prepared to go lower, i think you are just now starting to get into a realistic price...its 8 years old and not an especially low mileage example

I agree with the modification statement. I think that turns off a lot of buyers, but I don't really know why. Doesn't really make sense. Also (at least in my area) long bed regular cabs are the least desirable combination of cab and bed available. May be different in your area.

yeah.. people are looking into diesels and small cars for gas mileage around here.. your truck does sound very nice though.. i'd buy it.. mines a 01 extended cab short bed.. 5.2 with 32,000 miles on it and i bought it for 13,500.. i think that was a steal

My friend hasn't been able to sell his Dodge either due to the gas prices. Just keep the sign in it, and drive it to work so people will see it. Keep your phone number large on it so people will see it.

i have a 97 with all your stuff and a body lift, bed cover, tint, 35's, and stuff like that. its not even worth $7000 if i were to sell it around here. price varies with location, also though.

Dealers can't even get rid of them, most of the big trucks they get in on trade go to auction, because no one is looking to pay the gas mileage bill.

Looks like a great deal. Maybe put the truck in storage and wait out the market.
My Supercharged 94 GT vert is for sale for $6k and I haven't gotten any real offers, it has over $20k into it and $10k in receipts in the last few years. Maybe keepin it isn't a bad idea...
