TB adjustment?

i have a little question about the iac i am throwing the code that says the engine is not reaching proper idle i replaced the iac and it still idles at like a grand with nothin on and about 700 with ac and wheels to lock was wondering if anything could cause it to idle high

you should start a new thread on this...

look for a vacuum leak under the throttle body, you may have a base gasket that is leaking. the purpose of the IAC valve is to control how much air is leaking past the butterfly valves on the TB... if you have a small leak somewhere, the IAC cant control the air flow. Put a new TB base gasket on, torque it down per spec and see how it does. the gasket is cheep.
