Try the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). That will cause all kinds of headaches.

 

it turns out that my injectors were extremely clogged, and that(according to the dealer) i was running on only 3 cylinders, they took them out and used a high pressure reverse flow process to clean out all of the build up... theyre good as new and its running better than it ever has. thanks for the help.

I had the same issue last year. Found out it was a cracked gas cap. Replace the cap and have not an issue since.

 

no...it wasnt the gas cap....just the injectors...it was $280.15 at the dealer...now im having some problems with my abs and park brake light staying on any ideas?
