roof rack for ram
just wondering if anyone has a picture of a roof rack on their ram...... preferably one with (off road) lights on it. if so please post a picture of it, and what brand it is.... thanx, huge help!!
i found one here in portland oregon but i haven't been able to remember the name of it or anything. they guy i saw that had it on his ram said it wasn't a bolt on it was a yakima like type rack that went in the window sill and had the bars across the top. the company that made it then had the basket cage thing put on.
i have seen bars that bolt into the roof that mount lights. i was going to pick one up but the guy never got back to me on it.
sorry that doesn't help much.
i think he said something like jayco, or truck expressions.. but who knows this was months ago.

yea, ill look into those, thanx. i was wonderin about a picture though because im tryin to imagine what itd look like on my ram with the little shield thing over my front windshield...... any thoughts on how itd look?
well personally i hate those shield things.. think they look like monkey butt.
with only having a regular cab that roof rack is going to be really close together. harder to find stuff that fits on there then. i'd say if you're getting the rack for bikes, boats, snowboards, what not i'd get a tonneau and bolt the rack onto that.

Im putting one together one that looks allot like the smitybuilt defender out of EMT conduit (ive seen a ton of guys on other forums do this) im trying to figure out how to mount it right now.
