How did you clean them, or did you replace them?

1 more question, i noticed the service manual says to "take the relay out of the fuel pump PDC slot, start the engine, and wait for it to stall. then the fuel pressure will be gone." but when i take my relay out, the engine doesn't even turn over. i have the battery connected and everything. wierd. any solutions? thanks.

I had a friend clean them in a sonic cleaner. That's really all that has to be done. Solvent, 20 minutes in the sonic cleaner and *WHAM* almost new injectors. I am rebuilding the engine right now and they are all wrapped up in individual baggies awaiting reassembly.

114,000. Cleaned out the fuel rail as well. Do a search for "Broke Open My Engine" and you'll read all about my process of tearing down the engine.
