Interior Question.
I am doing a stereo upgrade.
What is the name of the tool used to take off the interior door panel to get at the speakers? I have used a screw driver and "elbow grease" in the past on trucks. These were beater trucks that I really did not care about very much ... [&:]
Now I have a nice truck, and would like the install to go smooth and clean!
Can I get the tool at Auto Zone?
Also, is there a tool/technique for getting the black trim from around the dash/over the stereo off with out nicking it up?
Thanks for any advice.
PS... My first step is installing this head unit:

RE: Interior Question.
10-4, thanks guys!
I went to the Crutchfeild site, and watch the flash vid of the installation ... Looks like I may no even have to pull the trim off! DIN tools and a "yank" according to the vid.
Hey, karkrazy ... When you re-installed your door panels, did you get new little clippy-things, or did you re-use the old ones?

RE: Interior Question.
I know that I have taken my door panels off several times and not needed to replace any clips, but if they are worn or your door panel does not want to stay in place correct then replace them-they are pretty cheap. Also, that tool really does help 200% in both making it easier to remove them and keeping them looking nicer. Nice choice in head unit!

RE: Interior Question.
Thanks for the info, and the complement ...
The head unit is in, and works great ...
Now the speakers are next ... I am thinking some Polk Audio db5250's in the door, and my box (from my last truck) under the back seat ...
