Leak from black cable under passender door
I'm not familiar with much underneath the truck but I did notice this morning a little puddle about 3in in diameter underneath my truck about 5 inches in from the passenger side of the truck. It looks like a black plastic cable about 1in in diameter with a square shaped plastic piece (maybe a mount?) thats kinda loose. The liquid drops down from the cable down a piece of metal about 4 or 5 inches long, so its a noticable leak. Doesn't smell like anything, looks to be clear, anyone know what this might be? Also, I did go offroading a little bit through some grass and small bushes, maybe something hit it somehow, this is the first time I'm noticing it, not sure if its been there before but I don't think it has. Sorry I'm not so technical. I will get pictures of this up tomorrow.
Yup, sounds like A/C evaporator draining normal condensation...the only fluid that is totally clear is brake fluid when it's brand new, but your description sounds like a/c drain.
easy way to check...next time your truck is running, with the A/C on, get out and watch under the truck for a minute, you will see the water/condensation dripping out slowly. perfectly normal

here is a picture of the hose/cable I am talking about which seems to be related to the AC. Its the black one above the 099 sticker.

I imagine it is the condensation off of the AC condenser. Mine still has a puddle under it in the morning after sitting overnight....

That "cable" looks like the vacuum lines going to the vapor canister (emissions crap)...if you were to follow it from that picture, towards the right (front), you'll end up running into the evaporator drain, probably just dripping onto it and running down the line.
