and to answer your question,, thats yes and no,, yes being that the cargo lamp is run off your headlight switch (IIRC for a 95) and when you switch your headlights on, the level of brightness of your headunit display changes respectivily.
on the no side, there isnt a DIRECT circuit connecting your c-lamp to the actuall head unit. unless your 95 came with the common GM open door lights off/on radio off/on system,,, but i doubt it

hay man they are on the same fuse if that is what you are wondering and its the fuse with the yellow crap on it I found out the hard way. I replaced my buzzer and a little 2" x 1" round cylinder before I even checked that stupid fuse. Dumb huh.. Well that was a 50.00 mistake I wouldn't want anyone to make. That's one where my friends were right on dam them......
