messed up front end
2WD's dont have control arms, they have A arms, thay dont have a SFA to be "controlled" but 4WD's do and thas what we are dealing with here
just wanted to clear that up
and ramgirl,, does the axle ear, the part that Tani circled in the pic look bent or is the steering nuckle bending at the ball joints.. make sure you take a close look.,. or a good pic for us to help ya.. ball joints can wear so bad that they could produce the effect your seeing, and still seam "tight" since the wiehgt of the truck is still on them

I think the only thing thats gonna help us here is some pics. Thats some pretty serious steel to get bend, especially on both sides. Are you the original owner? It would take alot of force to bend those, like somebody jumping it or something [sm=confused06.gif]
Thanx for the entertainment. i got a good chuckle reading all the posts
. i'm gonna go home take a pic of the problem so it'll be easier to see what i'm talking bout.

uh oh, embaressing..yes i would like to see a pic of this, sounds interesting, so the tab that the wheel connects to is the axle ear, then if thats bent wouldnt it be harder to turn or does the bottom one go with it if its bent.?

Tani1500 decided to reopen this thread with the assumption that we'd "grow up". There was no need to respond to anything posted before it was closed, other than to continue with some more misinformation...can we stop now and find out what's wrong with ramgirl's truck? No need to reply.
ok here is pic. not that good but hopefully u can c. It is on passenger side and bends to driver side, it does that on both sides but worse on passanger side. she has 33x16 tires on it
if i recall correctly, since there is no adjustment for camber, the factory used to bend the ears to align the truck properly. the thinking was that since it was prebent from the factory then, it would never move and didnt need to be adjustable.
mine looks the same way, and my tires bend it too.
and for all i know, i could have made that ^^ explaination up, but i believe i remember hearing that on some forum...
