Don't you just hate that your sitting all comfortable in front of the computer and someone makes you just have to go crawl under the truck and look.
No kidding ... especially when the blacktop's about 150 degrees ... and you lean right on it ... for a second or two ... YIKES!! [:@]

It is, after all, just one of those things that CANNOT wait until morning. You will lay there ... wondering ... do I? Knowing, all along, that the answer lies right there ... just on the other side of that door. all you have to do is ...

Awwwww ... EF IT!!! I HAVE TO KNOW !! [8D]

1791701 Screw Steering Knuck .. so THATs what its called.

im glad that some of you found that your trucks do actually have them as well, i was starting to wonder how noone else would know about them.

it took me $1300, and two trips to fountain tire to find out for myself., and now with that part number, i should be able to get everything cleared away.

i appreciate the comments ramdamit98, i shouldve taken that plastic off, but its alright for now., that two tone sprayon thread is making me think about doing that, would probably be about 2-3k cheaper than a paintjob. (and i wouldnt have to worry much about scratches anymore., but we'll see.

if you think so , i just dont feel like prematurely wearing down my new tires.
- I thought about it, and other than the fact that i have to adjust to knowing where my steering radius is, i can just avoid replacing them until the parts arrive. I know that noone in town will stock them.

i looked through my haynes ram manual, and their steering knuckles dont seem to have that bolt visible in the pictures, mind you they dont always have the same model, but you'd think that they'd at least mention it.
