I'm sure my neighbours think I'm going mental as that's probably the tenth time I've been in/under/on my truck doing something today. They probably think dodges are unreliable from the amount I work on my truck.

Thanks much! Those pictures are a terrific help. I should have more of what mine looks like in a few days. What perplexes me is that I kept tight tabs on everything; however I have one mystery bolt, which I am sure went to the block for ground wires, and then I have one small mystery bolt that I thought went to the throttle body and two mystery torx screws. Man I hate that! I thought I had an extra bolt when I did my plenum but then I found that it was to bolt the oil dip stick to the alt. bracket., but for a while I was sitting, staring at it thinking not again when will I learn to label or at least use the digital camera to document what I'm doing.

I learned after I got the engine partly disassembled that I should label everything. So, I got some tags and zip-lock bags from a local box store and labeled everything. Boy, did that make reassembly much better! I will fully document, with photographs and the same procedure, when I rebuilt the engine in my sister's 1976 Lincoln.

OK, what the hell is this mystery part? I know it came from the engine of my truck to connect *something*, but I cannot remember what.

Never mind. I realized it's something I pulled off of one of my VW's and was in the mix of Dodge parts. I still have one mystery bolt and two mystery screws. As long as nothing rattles apart or falls off, I should be good to go.

What size is the flexible vacuum tube that goes from the front of the throttle body to the hard plastic piece that loops around the intake? I've tried various sizes of fuel line to no avail. It's either too loose on the TB fitting, or too small for the hard plastic fitting.
