Excellent. I'll have to look around to see if I can find one that cheap.

Yeah the big thing to look for is that is isolates the filter from the heat of the engine. If you can find an intake like that for half of what they sell new I would consider that a good deal.

I have the S&B intake on my truck and like it real well. It made a big differance. what i did where it sticks up against the fender I used self sticking stormdoor gasket from Home Depot to make a seal so wouln't suck air from the eng compartment. Other than that it is an easy install. Takes about 30 min. Supposely S&B filter is better han K&N. I heard about them from the Trucks TV Show.

Where did it make a big difference? normal driving or high rpms like K&N? Because I can't feel any diff from the K&N because I rarely go over 2500rpm.

I gained about 1.5-2 mpg. and I know it has better accleration so there is a pickup in power don't know how much and at WOT you can hear it breath a lot better. I dont' notice any sound at normal driving but at WOT it sounds like it doesn't have an air filter on it. I also ran a flex tube from hole in the fender behind the head light through the radiatior shield. Will try and sent pic. if I can. I have trouble inserting photos.

suposedly the S&B filter has 15% more air flow than the K&N filter in the CAI
