Default Leaking window?

Yesterday during a good rain the back seat of my truck was wet on the drivers side. I looked up and water was running down the corner post of the rear window on drivers side. It is a solid window and this is the first Ive experienced. There is no obvious openings in the window seal area or anything. There is a black metal? strip/molding that runs from the back of the suicide doors to the top of the back window. Not sure where its coming from?

Default RE: Leaking window?

It might be leaking around the rear brake light. Take the light off from the outside and check the seal under the light bracket. I'm not sure if you have to get a new gasket or if you can put a bead of caulk around the bracket. I haven't had this problem, but read about it from others. The water leaks in aound the light and follows the molding above the rear windows and eventually ends up on the drivers floor. Since you don't notice it above the molding, it is hard to trace where the problem originates.
