i have done the transfer of 04 projector headlights in a 99 dodge ram. i will post some more pics when i get them

wait.. you lost me here.. just a day ago you asked info on anyone doing this conversion.. and today you post a pic of one completed.. you did this in one day? looks like it

 

Just curious, but why would you ever want 3rd gen head lights on a 2nd gen, the lines do not match anything on the truck, by lines i mean how the bottom of the light has arcs in it. Im my opinion unless the top of your bumper had lines like that to fill in the gap, or match those lines on the bottom of the headlight it looks rather stupid.

Plus look at the gap between grill trim and the headlight body. I'm not critizing his work, I would just have to know why he went to all the trouble.

Did you use a metal file to put those in up on the top lip of the housing? Pretty rough looking.

does not line up at all, poor choice idk if that was a good idea.. actually i know it was a bad idea,

 

i suggest returning/selling those and getting projection headlights for a 2nd gen ram... they will probally be cheaper too then ones for a 3rd gen

 

i would actually like to find the 3rd gen setup in a 2nd gen assembly, but ive not seen one...
