A friend of mine got a overlay for his '01 dodge ram. He just had it sitting up there not really trimmed out and glued on and it didnt look to bad. I would check ebay for the overlay or check dodgeparts.com for a new dash. I plan on getting a new dash for mine when I redo my custom console on the inside.

CTD owners swear by the dashtops found here: http://www.genosgarage.com/products.asp?dept=143

I put one on made by coverlay. I'm at work now so I don't have the site (post it when I get home). It looks like and ran about the same price as the geno's. Looks a whole lot better than the cracked up piece of a dash I had before and was super easy to install. If I can find my camera, I'll post a couple of pics too.

Here's the link to the place I got my dash cover. Good price and free shipping. Glad I'm having better luck with my truck than my camera. Camera crapped out on me, so no pic. yet.

Cover. The actual dash is around an 8-12 hour install. It's a pain to do, and there's no gaurantee it won't crack again. That's why CTD owners go with the covers from Geno's.

I went with the coverlay dash, and i love it. Iwas skeptical at first but i caved in. You cant tell unless you look really hard. I could have done a better job of install but a lack of experience. The lines can be really hidden if done right. Like the edge near the passenger air bag slides right under the air bag cover.

Tip: make sure your order the right color. I have a grey interior and ordered the black cover but i like it better though!

I'm also looking to do something with my dash. I found the dash cover cheaper at JC Whitney. Although no picture is shown for the Dodge model, and it has a bad review, it does say it's the Coverlay cover. Not a bad price...not sure about shipping though. Check it out below
