Power programmers only work on OBD-2 cars and trucks. Your 94 is OBD-1. Go with a mopar pcm. Get an S & B intake and run trur duals with flowmasters.

If you're wanting to get a set of headers and keep the price down check out Summit Racing part nbr. SUM-G9044. These are shorty direct bolt-on Summit brand headers for $149.95. I am running the Pacesetter brand of these and am satisfied with them. I even bought the header wrap to keep the heat down.

Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong but I think the Summit headers are actually made by Pacesetter.

Also I wouldn't reccomend any exhaust mods right now besides a set of headers. Catbacks are going to cost you power so if you are looking for performance I would leave the stock exhaust on there for the time being. I know this makes me a hipocrate because I have a catback system and I love the sound, so I guess if you really want one go with a 2.25 dual outlet or a 3 inch single outlet. Unless you have lots of money to spend I would stay away from true duals for right now. Anyways good luck and look forward to being in college its just as bad as high school when it comes to the money situation.

ORIGINAL: FaT_PHiL

but I was wondering should I get the entire K&N Air intake system or just the airfilter?
Go with the entire K&N air intake (the FIPK) if you tend to cross over into the high rpm range often. If you're like me and rarely go above 2500 RPM, I would say the intake is useless, however it is much less restrictive which could be better for the truck overall. I still have many more years with this truck hopefully so who knows what I'll be doing, maybe the FIPK could turn out to be one of the best mods I've gotten.

Just take it one at a time. and don't get in a hurry. Just startat the top and work your way down. CAI,Fastman throttle body, maybe modify the intake, then exhaust. Engine just like you and me got to inhale and got to exhale.
