Got it today from the auto parts store. Got about 100 buks off the list price ordering through an auto shop account, but was still $238. The worst part was trying to drop that 26 gallons of gas. I couldnt get a tube in it to syphon it out before i took the tank down. But she's back up and running great again. Btw, thanks for that service manual. It did help out. Now all i got to do is fix my a/c before summer. Alteast i got a few months for that one. Thanks again guys!

If you know anyone with a motorcycle/ATV jack/lift, it makes raising and lowering the tank easier.

I had the truck on the lift and used a trans jack for the tank. The most pain the *** part was trying to get the plastic lock nut off the top of the fuel pump. I had to use a chain vice grip, and use a peice of 1/4" wire to make a small extension for the chain so it would fit around the nut. Got it off though, put the new one in, truck fired right up. Now all i gota get done is my a/c, a set of shocks, and i have a small rust spot on the bottom of my drivers side fender. And the rear bumper because my friend backed into a metal pole and put a nice scratch in it.

The fuel pump came with everything but the plastic locknut. Thats where my problem was because i didnt want to damage that lockring when pulling the old one out. The regulator and filter are both part of the pump. After i got the tank down, being it was full, it was really easy. The only issue was getting that lockring loose.

The pump came with the fuel pump and a new gasket. The regulator and filter were part of the pump. I had to use the old lock nut which was a pain to get off. I had to use a chail wrench and make a small extension for it. Sorry i didnt post earlier. I havnt looked back. It's been running great since though. And the fuel pump was 215 from the auto parts store at my cost. Not to bad. Dealer wanted about double that.
