I'm not singling anyone out, just bringing it to the surface for anyone reading the thread to realize that the 1st impression is the one most remembered, meaning, you never get a 2nd chance at a 1st impression. If every newbie who has a problem gets blasted with the search function response, they'll think the board is full of a-holes. Not the impression I want to be associated with.

someone correct me if im wrong but the oil in your plenum will get burned off and can foul up your spark plugs, o2 sensors and cat

yup, exactly. it'll cause pinging and poor fuel economy. it is an internal vacuum leak. the best way to fix it is with an aluminum plenum kit & felpro gasket.

hey steve... i recently did my plenum. everything went smooth but when i put the rear and front gaskets in, i think that i forgot to put the rtv sealant at the corners. will that be much of a problem? I havent seen any oil leaking yet
