Runs rough when first started up
Nothing yet.
So far I have:
Replaced plugs & wires. Used Di-electric grease when replacing.
Replaced O2 sensor - only has 1
Replaced TPS
Checked all electrical connections to the computer, coil pack, and throttle body. Used di-electric grease on all when re-connecting.
Next step is a real good cleaning of the throttle body and a check of the vacuum lines to see if they are real brittle. Old rubber can get hard and brittle with age and heat and that could allow the vacuum to leak out until the vacuum lines warm up. Just grabbing at straws but will keep at it.

yank the IAC and clean it good... it's most likely sticking. you may want to try a dab of grease on the IAC plunger so that hopefully it may work it's way to the end and prevent itself from sticking
Any resolution to this? My 03 Dakota (4.7, auto, 84k mi, all stock) does the same thing. It started this winter and has been getting worse and worse. It starts perfect. Idles perfect. Throw it in Drive and about 20 seconds later it starts bogging and trying to die. This lasts for another 20 or 30 seconds then it clears right up and runs perfect until the next time you start it up. No codes. New 02 sensors did nothing. I'm stumped.
