well it looks like im getting a new engine anyway.

Ever since i bought it the oil pressure would drop at idle, after it warmed up. They checked the oil sensor and changed it cause it WAS bad. But problem never went away. So i told them to check the oil pump pickup screen since they were going to put in a high pressure oil pump, they discovered bearings and metal in the pan. So im just waiting on comfirmation from the GM of the dealership i bought it from, for the new engine.

Its a 99 1500 QC in MINT condition, well , except for this. 153,00 KM's on the engine.

So i will go full synthetic for all my fluids.

Did the same for my 99 TJ and there was alot of freed up HP, i will prolly go with an elec fan as weel as the manual sucks alot of HP.

When an engine gets replaced do they roll back the KM's on the odo or just make a note of when the motor was installed?

I dont imagine they would roll back the odometer, bcuz after all the vehicle still has that many miles on it....the motor is jst new.
