no park on a slight grade and crack the cap on the radiator while it is running. Dont open it after youve driven it though. let it cool.

I had this same problem and the coolant in the jug was full. when I ran itand got the air out, I wound up putting a whole jug of coolant in.
And my real problem was I had a leak by my thermostat that I couldnt see. It dripped down the front of the motor and burnt before it hit the ground. Very common with the 360 and 318.

I've filled mine up 3 or 4 times now wafter draining it to get to crap and have never had air in the system. What I so it let it cool down all the way and pop that cap off. Then turn the truck on and let it idle. I usually give it some gas with with my hand on the TB. Your trying to get it to warm up. It'll take a few minutes and it might start to overflow just a little bit. Once it warms up the thermostat will open up a bit and you'll see that coolant in the rad drop really quick, so filler it up untill it can't take anymore. Rev it up a bit too, that makes the coolant drop. Cram it full and put that cap on.

Never had a problem doing it like this.

if you haven't noticed this thread is about 4 years then you're not paying attention.
i ran across it, and noticed it was a who's who of the past....

IndyRam, Mason, Bill, Hank, God, Socha, Muddy Blue, and Habeb.

Does anyone know what ever happened to Muddy Blue ? He came down here to N. Ga college, signed up into the service, and disappeared.
