Yeah I know Chris, been to the track together, dyno and worked on our trucks at HP Indys place a few times. I ended up with his Viper 3800stall tc. I already heard he gave someone advice that I had as well. Just wasnt sure if it was you or not lol. Was going to tell you to say hi for me

so im curious... what is better to rebuild for off roading? a 360 or 318? because i too would like to pull some more horses out of my ram. when i had a trailblazer i got it up to 300hp and it had a 4.2l I6. but it lacked in tq and low end hp. so thats why i got a ram!

There is no replacement for displacement. Given the same mods, the 360 will put out more power/torque, simply because it is bigger.

As said, there is no replacement for displacement.

I found the 360 easier to find a variety of parts for. And if you compare the two motors, you'll definitely find there is a HUGE difference in power. I find no reason to even bother with a 318. It doesn't get much better mileage, and the 360 is better on practically ever end of the performance scale, hands down.
