ya so how we make warm air blow on defrost?
If you can't get hot air to your windshield ducts, you've get a problem with your system. As I previously stated, mine gets hot enough to melt a pretty good coating of ice (not frost) on the OUTSIDE of the windshield ... even in 0 degree weather. It takes about 10 minutes of running at 2,000 RPM in the driveway ... but it works.

I also melt the ice off my windshield, did it last night when leaving the boat ramp when it was 25 degrees outside.. I usually let it run up to 5 minutes and that usually warms it up enough to wipe of with my blades. I have the same problem though with the compressor kicking on..and let me know if you guys find a way to fix..it annoys the crap outta me.

A/C needs to run to circulate the oil in the freon line, let it set all winter and you could have problems in the spring, summer. Same with the 4WD system with locking hubs, don't run the hubs locked for a year and then you have rust in the differential.

My AC doesn't even work. Now that I live in california, and go out to the desert every weekend, I'm thinking I should get it fixed.
