If you want it - put it on there!! Why not? What you think is all that matters. Your truck. Looks good enough to me anyway. A good wax job and a "Super Bee" decal and yours looks as good as the other guy.......

I'm with racinfan, do a good cleaning/polish and add the decal. Only thing I'd recommend is to change out the red/silver side badge to str8 silver. Some might say to debadge entirely but I like the look on the sides myself, just the red would compete. Also, any decals on the tailgate should be removed too in order to avoid conflicting with the new decal .... you want it to be the focal point of the rear of your truck.
Also read the thread about your lift, I like the way your truck sits as is. I'm trying to figure out, though, if it is level or raking. And I think the tires are fine btw.

Ya know your paint may not be that bad ....... that is a wayyyyyy good pic of the Dakota. The pic 'o your truck isn't. As far as what to use I'm not really sure. I was going to do my truck this summer but never got around to it (besides swirls in my clear due to a **** poor wax at the dealer I bought it from, my paint is great). When I was a kid and into my twenties I used to detail my rides, but since then I've always paid for the occasional polish/buff. I myself would like to know what's good and what's not these days.

I use plain old Mother Carnauba Wax. i love it. lasts all winter too. i think one can ended updoing 12 wax jobs or so.
and yeah, i do like that style decal, i dont know about having rumble bee in it, maybe just the stripe?
