I have a 02 dodge ram 2500 v -10 gas . My question is Theres two wires that are connected to the front right brake and the colors are black and purple. I was wondering what they plug into too what do the colors change too ? Part of my wiring harness was cut somehow. please help

there probally for the abs sensor

 

My friends ram was a 99' 2500 diesel. He had the brake light and abs light on when he bought it. When his bearing went, for the front wheel and we replaced it, we noticed that it was alot more money for the one with the abs sensor in it compared to the one with out. The reason his abs light was on was because the wires were just cut on the one side and it had a non abs bearing/hub in it. Possibly the previous owner just wanted to fix it, and put a hub without abs in it, and cut the wires. I dont know your situation, but it is an idea.
