Airbag light help!!!!
Hey guys i have a 2001 ram just the other day my airbag light came on, i checked the codes and nothing came up. so i unplugged the battery and checked the fuses. even after i unplugged the battery, the airbag light was still on. could it be the coil spring ? i need to fix it quick im heading to texas from california in 3 weeks
coil spring? what makes you say coil spring? my air bag light is on as well, has been for a year or so and the truck runs fine. of course i dont know if the air bags have an issue b/c i havent had to use them. let me know if you figure it out
ha...would suck if it deployed.....my light doesnt stay on constantly though....it comes on randomly and then goes off...sometimes it comes on when i start the truck, other times it will just pop on...but i dont think its going to deploy anytime though, like i said, mines been doing it for almost a year
My friends F.O.R.D. Taurus had an airbag light that would come on. The most annyoing this is that sometimes it would make this annoying buzzing noise that would occure every 4-5 seconds while the car was on. My friend flipped the car, and the problem went away.
I, personally, would unplug the connector from the airbag(s) and/or the airbag control module.

Airbag light usually indicates a circuit problem, or a bad impact sensor. Look at your grounds. Make sure they're tight.
Good luck.

Was that directed at me?

No joke. This is the one time when smart-*** answers should be kept silent, and the owner should put a crowbar in his wallet and have it professionally inspected. Like them or not, the airbags are in place for a reason.
