I was going to get a programmer for Christmas and was thinking about getting the Hypertech programmer, probably from ebay if i can find one on there. Is this the best programmer for my truck??? Also, is there anything else i should get for Christmas, all i really care about is the truck and getting money. Is there anything else i should get (from other relatives), say for around $300 or less??? Right now for performance, i only have the highflow cat, cutout, and the flowmaster.

Thanks

Here's some suggestions:

-Harland Sharp 1.7 ratio non adjustable roller rockers - cost about $300.
-Fastman throttle body, cost about $225
-shorty headers - cost just over $350 for a good set.
-Some sort of good air intake setup, like a K&N FIPK or a 14x3 round filter, cost $50-$250 depending on what you get.
-Mopar performance PCM (instead of a programmer), cost vary on eBay if you can find one. Can be less the $100 though.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but this is just a quick reply after reading the replies...What will make more power and programmer or a Mopar Performance PCM? Also, would i have to flash the Performance PCM when i add other things?

Thanks

If you really want a programmer, I suggest Superchips...The people that I know who have had both like the super better.

You'll get more power out of the Mopar Performance PCM but you'll have to use premium fuel, Superchips and hypertech have 87 octane settings.
