How about typing with proper words and spelling so that you can be understood? That is the key to communication. You'll learn that quickly if you want to survive in the real world, ***.

I have to admit it was a little difficult understanding you post.

I wouldn’t recommend putting Turbo(s) on the trucks, if you want some thing fast. Don’t get a truck (not saying they can’t be fast)

Good luck.

P.S- Just get a CAI and Full Exhaust. You will love it !!!!

I just got to re-thinking my opinion on turbos ... didn't like them (vs. superchargers) due to the lag ... but they actually might be ideal for a truck. The torque on the 8's is enough to get you launched but the huge front end ofourbricks builds a LOT of drag at higher speeds ... right where the turbo is most at home.

... just thinkin' ...

FWIW... my 2005 CTD is at 6~8 psi while cruising on the freeway. to get what your thinking Bill you would need a low rpms spooling setup since at hiway speeds your motor would be turning 1700~2100 rpms depending on the gearing. If you had a setup that spooled low and was boost limited with the wastegate at 8~10 psi you'd probably be in good shape. I'm no tubo expert, just throwing out ideas...

True enough ... good information for a daily driver that wanted some more muscle on the highway. I was pondering the occasional individual who would run their truck at the strip. I believe that the main thing limiting late race acceleration (where one may be approaching redline) is all the drag from the enormous front end on these things.

The only reason I'm thinking this is that I used to look down my nose at turbos in favor of superchargers ... but I can see where a turbo can be useful. A supercharger may just fry tires at the start because of the lighter rearend.
