i dont know how to adjust it but i mean my dad bought mine brand new and its always done it on a full lock dont think its that big of a deal to be honest i do remember there are little adjusters on the control arms to stop it from turning think thats how u correct this problem
there are stop bolts on the inside of the steering knuckle on both wheels, adjust those outwards in order to prevent rubbing, however you will lose turning radius.
Rule of thumb: Right bolt affects Left Wheel, and Vice Versa.

My '01doesn't have them either, I've been thinking of drilling and tapping a set in.

My 96 has the stops on the steering knuckles and I bet all Ram's do - at least Gen 2 1500's. It's on the front of the knuckle pretty near the bottom. Size is something like 3/8ths. The hexhead is the stop. There'sa nut on the bolt you tighten agaist the knuckle to keep it adjusted.
My tires rub on the lower control arms too, but my stop bolt is so rusty it might break if I try to adjust.
