Plenum pan replaced!
Do you think I had a leak? Here are a couple of pics of the plenum pan and the intake. If it is brown colored, it is oil!

I was losing a quart of oil every 2 weeks (every 2 fillups). The injectors were OK. I went ahead a replaced all the o-rings (because one injector was stuck in the intake). It's all good now though. Got the aps precision deluxe kit and everything went pretty smooth. Only trouble spots were the stuck injector and I snapped the ground wire connector. Ground wire was a quick cut, crimp, solder (just to be safe), and reconnect. Truck is running much better. It still stumbles around 50 mph with the O/D on, but it used to do it from 40 - 60 mph, so I am hoping that it drives in. Going to also replace the vacuum lines since there was so much oil I am certain that oil got sucked into the lines.
Hey Trippin - what gasket did you use for the replacement? Think I have the same problem. Took the first long journy (1400 mi.) with my truck and lost a LOT of oil (4 qt total). Thought it was a leak at the front and rear oil pan, but with that much, the underside should have been coated!
Where does it go??????
How much time am I looking at to replace the gasket?

cool, good deal, glad to hear it's fixed... the felpro gasket is the way to go on the plenum... add the aps pan and your set.
if your loosing lots of oil and cant see where it's going, the plenum is a good starting point.
