What does SLT actually mean?
I have a 1998.5 dodge SLT and it has no power seats or heated seats
Ok, now THAT was FUNNY.
Gave me a good laugh, so, I won't whine about resurrecting 10 year old threads.

I just bought a '95 SLT Laramie, and thou it has become clear to me that the Dodge SLT Laramie is the rough equivalent of the Ford XLT Lariat, I am still wondering as to the meaning of those letters.
I've come up with the following (based on the fact that GT = Grand Touring):
Ford XLT = eXtra Luxury Truck (or eXtra Luxury Transport)
Dodge SLT = Super Luxury Truck (or Super Luxury Transport)
But it could also mean something Light Truck, and then what does the ST stand for, Super Truck?
Anyone know?
