Default KIds these days

I was sitting at the stop light today waiting for the green when this little toyota pulled up next to me .
He had a killer stereo it was like shaking my truck. He had a loud fart pipe exhaust that soun ded like a pissed off weed eater.
I looked over and rolled my eyes at him and then he started revving his turd up. I said to myself ok let's see what he's got
Soon as the light went green we were at it. He had me off the line but after my truck got wound up I passed him up.
This was all in town on the main drag. Thankfully it was early w/ no traffic I was runnin about 70 in a 35 .
At the next light no loud radio and no revving engine.
Guess that'll teach him.
The nerve of some of these kids thinkin that loud exhaust and CAI will make u go fast.
U just can't beat a good Ol V-8

Sweet. Two questions for you...
Is the Holly TB a bolt in similar to the Fastman? Do you have details on it?
Did the pulley set do much? How'd it impact cooling and charging systems?

The Holley TB is after market from Summit . It's little more costly than the fastman ,but while I was ordering parts I decided to order it through them too. That and I needed my truck and I had only so much time to do all the mods so I couldn't wait on different shipments.
The under drive I'm not sure of the gain because I put all of the mods on at once . Hanen't noticed anything cooling wiseand I have dual batteries so I really don't notice any volage drop.

Thank God there is hope for the future.
1998 Ram thanx for the support.
Dang rice burners .[:@]
It's not that I don't like them
It's that I don't like the one's who watched the Fast and the Furious and think because they put a wing on their car they can run a low 10 in the quarter.

I'm also 18 and tend to have some fun with the little ricers...I have the 5.9 2wd shortbed and just the other day a little lowered nissan pick-up with crazy paint and a bone-rattling system stopped next to me at the light...I didn't just roll my eyes, i started laughing...at the point he starts revvin his fartbox up, so i begin to leave a white cloud of smoke, and literally dusted him off the line up to 100...he was only 15 truck lengths behind...

im not gunna lie, i love to watch fast and the furious movies, but i do hate "rice" I love the euro look, when its done right. People who rice out their cars always make the biggest mistake and think if they do a huge body mod, like a body kit that its gunna make it look great...it takes alot more then just putting a new bumper and what not on to look good. I always think when you do the small stuff it adds up and keeps it looking classy.

hahahahaha lol
Now that's funny
How bout I put a wing on my truck and pull 4 plug wires then I could cruise the streets
and wait for the chance to rev my motor at a stoplight next to someone.
Oh heh I forgot I need to lower it and put some spinners on and have a sysrem so loud that all u can hear is the base and truck rattling apart.
