If I remember right, it's takes an allen bit, not sure if it's metric or standard.Try driving in a slightly different size bit with a little heat. If no go may have to drill through it with some grease onadrill bit to keep metal shavings from falling into case. Go slow and keepwiping off grease/metal shavings, then regrease bit and continue. Drill it to sizefor an easyout, tap it in then add a little heat.Carefully turn easyout to remove.Use an easyout that has the reverse twist shank, then it will bite harder as you turn it out.

When I bought my truck I checked all of my fluid levels and the transfercase fluid looked like atf. Is it atf? or somthing special?
