i never pulled my battery, might make it easier to do but it is possible without pullin the battery

 

Disconnect the neg battery terminal though right?

 

Unless your truck has an oversized battery, you shouldn't have to move or disconnect anything on the battery. I'm not a small guy (6ft, 230lbs and still lift weights sometimes), but I was able to get my hand between the battery and bulb socket.

I burned the driver's side out last summer while on vacation and replaced it w/ the spare bulb that I always carry. When I got back home, I bought two new bulbs and replaced both sides and kept the good one for the next time one burns out.

 

Ok I will try it, is it necessary to disconnect the negative battery terminal?

 

i never changed the headlight on my ram but i have never heard of removing the neg battery terminal to replace just a headlight.
