[align=left]I had the EXACT same problem a few months ago. I thought my battery was draining and it turns out it was just a bad connection at the negative terminal. I spent $5 and switched the battery from side post to top post and haven't had a problem since. The next time your truck dies try this... open the driver side door and since the battery appears dead your interior lights won't come on. Jiggle the negative cable and if your interior light comes on you've just got a bad connection.

if my ignition is busted that would cause drainage? no lights or anything appear to be on exept that radio one
and i think my conn. are good because i already had new cables put in...i will try it though

look in your fuse box and make sure some asshat didnt try to jump circuits in there.. i.e. make sure there are no 'jumper' wires from fuse to fuse
