4wd light flickers in 2wd, gos on and off.
That 4WD light is turned on by a microswitch in the CAD - vacuum operated thingy in back if front axle. Lotsa people here know way more than me, but I think flickering light means the CAD is engaging/letting loose all the time. Don't think that's good.
My guess is a damanged/loose/leaking vacuum line - caused or made worse when tranny was changed.
Good thing is it should be easy to find and fix.
Bad thing is that it's NG to br going in and out od engagement like that.

Mine will somtimes flicker when I take it out of 4wd, but then its always off when its in 2wd...
Is it mean I have a vaccum leak if it flickers when coming out of 4wd? It only flickers maybe 5 times quick, then its gone.

My guess is not pulling shift fork to release the right axle shaft right away.Understand a delay in lightcoming on - collar hasto align before linking up. But unlocking should happen fully right away. I think blinking after going to 2WD is not a good thing.

I found the problem, i had a break in the metal line. I used a brass coupling with pressure sleeves and its back to good.
Ill post pictures of it tommorow. I just cut out the torn put with a pipe cutter and used the coupling and some thread-lock to fix it.
