Well obviously, offroaders and riders like us were wrecking the forest with the trails. Even though when trails got bad, they would close them down, and always took care of the place. Soo whats the best way to save a forest? Easy, Take it all down, flatten it out, and build a commercial airport! GREAT IDEA!

I hate stupid people... They wreck all our fun..

BTW - Anyone wana go in and build our own paragon? I've looked into it. All the sponsors would be willing to go in because of the loss of paragon, and it seems like it would be about 400k to start one. (With an additional 400k in loans) If only i had the money lol

I would be more than willing, if i had the funds, to buy upa piece of property somewhere locally and turn it into an offroad park, im sure you jest need to find the right people in your area and get the word out and youd have tons of people interested in no time.

I hate bull **** like this. 4 wheelers ALWAYS get a bad rap, like all be do it go our and destroy the forest, when in reality we take care of it more then anybody usually.

The club up here at Michigan Tech (http://www.mtu4x4.org) is always getting bad raps for anything that happens. If a trail gets ripped up, its our fualt, if theres a bunch of garbage, its our fualt, if people wheel a closed off trial, its our fualt. We spend a few days a year just doing stuff to get good PR, like clean up runs and stuff.

We just got a letter the other day about a nearby trail that got ripped up and this guy was pissed. The club pres. responded back apologizing, and also telling him that were not the only ones that use the trails.

I dunno, its almost a loosing battle

I'd agree. The problem is that it only takes one 'dink' to ruin it for the rest of us. People by nature are negative and one negative individual experience can place a bad name on thousands of good example. DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...no respect.
