If you are doing a lift, you need to get rid of the leveling kit. that will just raise the front of the truck higher than the back. Lifts level out the truck already, meaning you will get 5.5 inches of lift in the front, but only about 4-4.5 in the back. since the front is 2 inches lower than rear when stock, you add a 2 inch level, and you are now 1-1.5 inches taller in the front. Thats a bad thing

id say go ahead and get the leveling kit and put it on and get add a leaves for the rear and run 40s. my lift has 5" springs in the front and a leveling kit and 5" in the back. im planning on taking out the 5" coils and putting in 7" coils and leveling kit and dick cepek long arms and running 40" super swampers when my baja claws wear out

i put a couple pics of my setup now in the post above. im running 37s on my truck but you will be able to clear 38.5 or even 40s with rubbing but i kinda like being able to flex the truck a little without rubbing

Im considering staying with the 4:10's i have now, but if i do change it will be a 4:56 or a 4:88.

On the subject of the leveling kit, ill be running new springs with an add-a-leaf which will even out the 2" leveling kit along with blocks, so it will end up being roughly a 7" lift on my suspension.

It would be nice to run a 40", but for now until i buy a bigger lift (something like a 12" skyjacker or trucks in action here locally custom fabs bigger lifts) im gonna stick with a 38".

Im buying the bulk of it from a good friend of mine here locally for $1800 for the susp. lift, leveling kit, rims, and tires. The body lift and new rear springs with an add-a-leaf is stuff im buying on my own.
