ya sure no one put zip ties on your driveshaft??

seriously though, you might need to be more descriptive. have someone walk or drive next to the vehicle so you can pin point where the noise is coming from.

Or - as was my case - a broken weld on the muffler which allowed it to come in contact with the drive shaft. Really nasty noise, resonated inthe cab even... If you still have a stock (or atleast chambered) muffler, check that. If it is rubbing you will be able to see the contact on the driveline too.

Oh, and if it is contacting your driveline, be sure to keep your eyes on it in the future... It wore mine down pretty good.

Long story short - it snapped in two at 135mph at 3 am in the morning after graduation.

That was the first and last time I had my truck that fast... Now I'm limited to 120 becuase of the slipping overdrive clutches in my transmission...

Well I'd say that about myth busts the one about the back end of your truck pole vaulting over the front end of the truck due to the drivetrain snapping at high speeds... good to know

Nope, just makes a hella lotta noise while it's floppin' around under there... At worst you could cut some lines or wires, and maybe mess up your rear end if you got it stuck in a pot hole or something...

By the way, that was on Mythbusters' amd yes, it was busted...

Wheel bearing, u-joint, brakes, broken weld, so many possibilities. Really hard to say could be any of those things. Ashas been said need to narrow the sound down a little more to exact location.
