Bilstein no good in the cold eh? Thanks. Probably wouldn't do so good in -50degC and colder like it is here hey? I'm thinking I'll go Rancho, but I don't need anything adjustable, just a nice ride. Probably the stock ones would do me well, but I would like something a bit stiffer for the big bumps!!

I've had the rancho rs5000's (too soft), 9000's, break too easily IMO and ulitmately you set them to your preference & leave it, and the edelbrock IAS performers... I like the Edd's the best...

Yeah, I have the same opinion on the adjustable ones. I don't do enough off-roading for the adjustable feature to be of use for me. I'll look into the edelbrock. Anyone else have an opinion on the IAS'?
Thanks

[:'(] ... too soft for my taste with a lot of body roll ... but now I have to live with them.

I put a set of take-offs from an '01 2500 on my '96 half ton...only 15k on them...really firmed up the ride.
Compressed length is the same but are a little longer extended,I've had no problems with them and when I finally get the leveling lift in they'll be perfect.
