Done with brake clean, worked pretty good. The OBAir just couldn't get it reseated for some reason.

I did that at Tellico a few weeks ago....If you use a ratchet strap to compress the tire it will make it easier to reseat.

We tried that, its a 16.5" rim though so pita to seat it.

BTW, I go to MTU and am in the Wheelers, I've seen you on UPJeeping

our mechanics do that with ether on fatboy (monster truck) tires., works like a charm usually every time.

yeah i'm wondering how that works...does it just melt the tire back onto the rim to reseat it?

i think the flamable creates a combustion in the tire that causes it to pretty much explode.. inflating the tire and setting the bead. its like a air bag.. it has a little tiny piece of dynomyte in it and its enough to inflate a huge bag of air.

the fire heats up the air inside the tire and expands it, which makes more pressure inside quickly, which sets the bead

Done that million times with 18 wheeler tires for those ones that are barrell stacked.
